- We use the cookies the website needs to work, and one for counting listing views.

This policy explains which cookies and which other data Rekid keeps in your browser, and how you can control them.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser and receives back on your next visits. Besides cookies, websites can also keep data in the browser's memory (local storage and the memory used to work offline).

A random number, so that we count a listing view by the same visitor only once a day. It contains no data about you; when you are not signed in, we keep on the server only an irreversibly encrypted form of it. | one year |
The first three are necessary: without them you cannot sign in, and the website does not remember your settings. rekid.vk is not needed for the website to work: we save it when you open a listing or a category, to count views correctly, and the banner about Google Analytics neither turns it on nor turns it off.
4. Other data kept in the browser
Some data stays only in your browser and is not sent to us unless you use it:
- draft listings, and the last location and delivery methods used when publishing, so you do not have to type them again;
- a message you started in a conversation, until you close the tab;
- what you were doing when we asked you to sign in (for example, the message you wrote), for up to 30 minutes, so it can continue after you sign in;
- your "Not now" choice for the install and notification suggestions, for 30 days, and the tips you closed;
- the account for which push notifications are turned on in this browser;
- your choice about Google Analytics (
rekid.consent), for 12 months, then we ask again.
So that the website also works without internet, the browser keeps a copy of pages, images and some of the website's responses, including data from your account, for up to 24 hours. If you share a device with other people, sign out and clear the website's data when you are done.
5. Services of other companies
- The sign-in page loads the Telegram button from telegram.org, which may use Telegram's cookies.
- When you sign in with Google or Apple, you go to their pages, which use their own cookies.
- Profile photos received from Google or Telegram load directly from their servers.
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager load only if you agree (see section 6).
These companies process data under their own privacy policies.
6. Google Analytics, only if you agree
To understand how Rekid is used, we use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, both Google services. They start only after you press "Accept" in the banner on the website. With no answer, or if you press "Decline", your browser sends nothing to Google and no Google Analytics cookie is saved. The banner concerns only Google Analytics: it does not change the other cookies above, or our own statistics.

Google Analytics receives the pages you see (without search text and other parameters of the address), the page title, where you came from, the language, the type of device and the important things you do on the website (for example, that you published a listing or sent a message, never its content). Advertising and Google Signals are off. The data reaches Google and is kept for 14 months; more in the "Privacy policy".
You can change your choice at any time from "Cookie settings", at the bottom of the website or on this page. If you withdraw your consent, we delete the _ga and _ga_* cookies from your browser, and Google Analytics no longer starts.
7. How to control cookies
You can see, block and delete cookies in your browser's settings. If you block rekid.session, you will not be able to sign in, and settings made without an account will not be saved. If you delete cookies, you are signed out, and data saved without an account (children, favorites, interests) can no longer be recovered on that device. To avoid losing it, create an account.
