Account deletion

1. Sign in and open "Profile" → "Account".
2. Under "Delete account", tap "Delete account".
3. Read what will happen and confirm by typing the word shown.

If you can no longer sign in, write to us at suport@rekid.md from your account's email address. We may ask for more information to confirm that you own the account.

If you use Rekid without an account, your data is linked only to an anonymous identifier in your browser. You delete it in "Profile": your children, interests, favorites and notifications.

• Your active and reserved listings, and those under review, are deactivated. None of your listings is visible to other users any more.
• Your public profile is no longer visible.
• You are signed out on every device.
• If you have a confirmed email, you get an email with the date of the final deletion.

Until that date you can sign in and see your data, but you cannot publish, send messages, leave reviews or change anything except restoring your account.

Within the 30 days, sign in and tap "Restore account". Everything goes back to how it was, with one difference: your listings stay deactivated, and you reactivate them from "My listings".

After 30 days, at the latest on the following day, the account is deleted for good and can no longer be restored.

Deleted:

• the ways you sign in (email, Google, Apple, Telegram) and all sessions;
• your children's data, interests, favorites, notification preferences and subscriptions, and the list of notifications;
• your phone number, address, the link to Telegram and your location;
• all your listings, with their photos;
• the reviews you received, on your profile and on products;
• your profile photo.

Anonymized:

• your name is replaced with "Deleted user", and your email address is deleted;
• your searches stay only in the statistics, not linked to you.

Kept:

• the messages you sent in conversations, with their photos, including your phone number or address if you sent them in a conversation. A conversation also belongs to the other participant, so your messages stay with them, marked "Deleted user";
• the reviews you wrote for others, without your name;
• reports, sanctions, the moderation history and the log of moderators' actions, for as long as needed to investigate fraud and abuse, within the limits of the law.

Database backups are kept for 30 days and then deleted. So, at most 61 days after your request, the deleted data no longer exists anywhere with us. The servers' technical logs are deleted automatically after about 14 days.

If you have a reason to ask for immediate deletion, without the 30-day period, write to us at suport@rekid.md. Once we confirm that the request is yours, an administrator can delete the account on the spot, under the same rules as above.
